SOrry sony you need to get your act together. Then you are left with an oversized cluttering junk yard of a radio-box. oversized waste and the CD fuction wears out fast if you use repeat button. paid $90 and the CD fuction broke in less then 6 months.
I enjoy wide range of music, strings, piano, choir, orchestra, jazz, rock, country, ethnic.This was a best buy for me. There were some minor scratches on top, but I am content with its sound system. I purchaced this product as refurbished, after thourough search over other products. I chose this one after I read a review about great sound that you can fully enjoy classic music.
Everything else has been working great. They definantely don't make them as durable as they used too in the 90s. I've had this for about 2 months. As for the way it was constructed it feels very light (which means it either made with a lot of plastic if not all plastic) and would shatter if I dropped it. The sound on this boombox sounds superb for this price. The only problem I've encountered was after about 2 months on the display screen(don't know if it was personal or manufacturers) it almost looks like a rainbow mark has appeared on the center of the display.
It has a good qulity of sound. My wife was very happy about her Christmas gift. She can listen to music from this CD player.
After shopping at retail stores and everywhere on line for weeks, I am very proud of my selection, and for a good price. Sony CFD-F10 CD / Radio / Cassette Recorder, Silver This is a great item, and of very good quality.
